1. Data controller

Obra Certa, operator of this directory.

2. What data we process

  • (a) Data you send us through the forms — quote requests/messages to professionals (name, email, description of the work) and requests from professionals (company, name, email, phone, message), plus technical data on where the visit came from (landing page, referrer, UTM parameters).
  • (b) Business contact details of listed companies (trading name, phone, email, website, town, alvará), collected from public sources such as the companies' own websites and the IMPIC public register. Some professionals are sole traders, so this data may be personal data.

3. Purposes

To forward and answer the requests you send; to maintain the directory and let the public find and contact professionals; to measure site usage and contact clicks in aggregate.

4. Legal basis

Consent and pre-contractual steps at the data subject's request (forms — Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR); legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for listing businesses with publicly available business data and for aggregate statistics.

5. Sources (Art. 14)

The companies' own websites, the IMPIC public register and other public sources shown on each profile, in the 'Sources for this profile' section.

6. Retention

Requests sent through the forms — up to 12 months after the last contact, then deleted; profile data — while the business is listed; after a removal request, we delete the profile and keep only the minimum record needed so it is not listed again.

7. Recipients

Our hosting and database provider (a processor, handling data on our behalf). When you send us a message for a professional, its content may be forwarded to that professional. We do not sell data.

8. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (including objecting to being listed) and portability, where applicable. How to exercise them: through the 'Claim, correct or remove a listing' form on the For professionals page, or the 'Is this your business?' link on each profile. Removal requests are handled with priority and, as a rule, within a few days (at most one month).

9. Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.

10. Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing cookies. Our hosting uses built-in analytics that sets a 30-minute analytics session cookie to count visits in aggregate. Your list of saved professionals is stored only in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to us. Fonts are served by the site itself.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
